You want to make films as accurate as possible. Films based on science rather than art might be better art (or not). There are two distinct modes of thought when it comes to where we go for certain types of information. The assumption with art that is informed or inspired by science is empirical. But why should empiricism matter in retinal art at all? Conversely why should empiricism be concerned with aesthetics?
