Climate change has always straddled the boundary between the dichotomy "Don't just stand there, do something" and "Don't do something, just stand there." Adaptation is seen as the solution but it's still the same paradox: Don't just adapt, do something" and "Don't just do something, just adapt." "Don't ask what your planet can do for you; ask what you can do for your planet" could be a solution, but the paradox remains. It should work like making art: "Do something-anything and see where it leads." (10/2014)
