Interesting: If people see you with a camera at an event, or if an event is taking place nearby (like an air show) people automatically ask you "take any good pictures of the jets?" The use of the camera is defined by the place it which it is used. And when everyone has a camera, the function of place is defined by the camera, i.e. that everyone has to document it.
