I once had a dream that I was at a talk by Bill Clinton. He said something that I thought was really interesting: "If you at least start on something, people will think you are doing something, and you will give the impression you are doing something significant." (or something like that...) After the talk I told him how much I liked that axiom, and we continued to chat on our way out.
