The date is unclear, but I think I made this entry during the 2004 election. Right-wing religious zealots have been around for millennia, and the history shows one common element: the older the idea, the more confused is its message. A part of what perpetuates these movements is that people forget the original credos, and new ones arise, e.g. the Tea Party movement.
