If you're going to run, run towards something.
2/2026: Going through the Dynaxiom entries I realize I'm both the preacher and the choir and I have to practice what I preach. For example, "Don't run away from something, run to something". I haven't always done that. I've always ran back after the place I ran to seemed empty. You think it's going to be a vibrant place, but it's all tumbleweeds. Then you run back and it might work for a while, and you think you've got it worked out--yo've finally arrived--but crashes and burns. Where do you run to? Most people keep attempting to make the same thing work over and over, and so they are always running back to that place. The idea seems to be running to the place where you die and like where you are and people will respect you for it for eternity. I'm always reminded of that woman who died in her cubicle at Wells Fargo and was found 3 days later.
