I had a conversation the other day with someone, and I had mentioned that I had gone to the Chicago art expo, and she made it interesting comment about not liking the Expos because it was like looking at art in cubicles, and that she prefers to look at art in more refined spaces. I would tend to agree with her on this, but I think we all have different requirements for how we interact with the thing that we're making in context with the place its being made in. Personally, I like looking at art in any kind of a physical space as opposed to just looking at images online. In fact, if you print it and framed a lot of the images online, and put them in a gallery, it wouldn't have the same effect because digital images don't necessarily require a space, but once they're in a space, perhaps their impact is diminished and is anticlimactic.
