The drive in a modern world will always be towards the contemporary. You always have a choice whether you want to continue doing something you did 30 years ago or whether there's something currently in the air in today's world that is more alluring than what you did. I like to have a balance of both, where I can enjoy my skills and talents that I've accumulated over decades, but go on a little explorations of what's going on now. I like to experiment with the new AI tools, for example.
