I had thought there would have been a sea change towards metamodernism (or remodernism), beginning post-COVID, but it hasn't taken hold. Everything seems to be heading towards the brink. Revivals are probably ineffective in creating a sea change. The corollary in architecture is postmodernism and neoclassicism, and while they are interesting, developers and architects aren't seeing it as a new golden age].
