Everyone's life needs a theme. [Themes are different than values in that we understand them intellectually and can speak to them. While values can be both "installed" (perhaps at the genetic level), and "instilled" through epigenetics), they are not something we can fully understand at the individual level. Values tend to waiver more than themes. Themes are based on things we've always been interested in since we were children.
