Lyrics 'dumb-down' language. [Alas, in order for prose to work musically, it has to be distilled--sometimes to the point where the words seem almost stupid. Rhyming can be difficult in that the options can be limited, and the rhyming pairs won't always have any connection to the theme of the lyric. Personally, I'm willing to split the difference and allow the lyric to remain ambiguous for the sake of the overall valence of the music. Now with the AI-generation of music, we can experiment with this kind of thing. I'm okay with reducing something to bubblegum if it makes the lyric work musically. But when writing lyrics that I would sing, or have someone else sing, I can elaborate more without regard for how AI is going to parse the words. Many times when I've used lyrics from completed songs, they work fine if played with a guitar, but AI can't find the music in the language. That's because music can't be defined mathematically, even though music does have a human mathematical framework, which is different from the mathematics in an LLM].
